A successful family-owned business since 1952, Nation’s Giant Hamburgers has built over 30 restaurants in as many locations around the San Francisco Bay area. When they decided to expand into Sacramento, they called on us to transform a drab 1960s strip mall corner into an eye-catching, contemporary hot spot. Challenge met! From that first store we have designed several more but there’s a catch. Each store has a different look with different materials and layout designed to reflect the area in which it sits.
Using a combination of stainless or painted steel, wood-patterned porcelain tile, glass and sometimes neon, these sleek, modern, bright buildings catch the attention of motorists on busy thoroughfares. The combinations are a fresh take on a traditional hamburger diner, modern yet comfortably familiar.
