When the Heringer family decided to move their wine tasting operations out to the family ranch, they were looking for a building design that connected the history of the ranch with the wine and hospitality they provide to their visitors. An original barn served as the inspiration for this new timber-built structure. The hewn posts and beams were fabricated to resemble antique members; the siding was rough-sawn and stained to create an aged patina. The setting under the oak trees with views of the vineyards and Mount Diablo beyond is perfect for enjoying premium wines and great company.
